Archery! The men vs. the women.

Celebrated Noojen's 27th birthday. It was surprisingly fun. I learned that bullets will get stopped by the kevlar vest but arrows will pierce right through them. So unless someone is wearing some steel breastplate, the bow/arrow can be very dangerous.

Pics from the Vegas/Grand Canyon trip last weekend.

You can't ever get tired of the Bellagio Fountain show. We stood there for an hour watching 4 different ones. My favorite is the Andrea Bocelli and Sarah Brightman's, "Time to say Goodbye" version. Amazing.

That's some crazy effect painted on door and hood of the Lamborghini. Like the car alone isn't already a headturner.

Drove 2.5 hours to Grand Canyon West from Las Vegas. This is where the skywalk was built. That glass structure people can walk onto to look down into the canyon.

Dave and I did our afternoon stretch at the Grand Canyon before heading back to Vegas.

Basically we met up with friends in Vegas, did some dancing, shopped, mgm's lazy river and waterfall pool was fun (highly recommend staying at MGM just for that). It wasn't all vacation and relaxing for the guys. Dave worked hard at the blackjack table to put some food on the table for Irene, and i labored at the craps table to feed Nicole. Gotta do what you gotta do to bring home the bread. Good trip overall.

Judge Suing D.C. Dry Cleaner Chokes Up in Courtroom While Recalling His Lost Trousers!

A judge had to leave the courtroom with tears running down his face Tuesday after recalling the lost pair of trousers that led to his $54 million lawsuit against a dry cleaner. He alleges that Jin Chung, Soo Chung and Ki Chung, owners of the mom-and-pop business, committed fraud and misled consumers with signs that claimed "Satisfaction Guaranteed" and "Same Day Service."

YOU GOT TO BE FREAKING KIDDING ME!

I'm not a law student but this has got to be ridiculous right? Anyways, its important because my mom owns a dry cleaner and we have a lot of dry cleaner friends. Everyone in the dry cleaning community are probably holding their breath waiting for the verdict to this 54 million lawsuit. If the judge wins, kiss dry cleaning goodbye. It's too dangerous to own a dry cleaning business. Everyone should just retire and instead just think of ways to sue people.

Anyone seen the new Transformer trailer in 1080P HD? It look's pretty tight.

http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/hdtrailers.html;_ylt=AhFloyaJ70D2mavOYdHaMx5fVXcA

So i looked up some stuff on wikipedia. Here's the robots that are going to be in the movie.

Autobots

Decepticons

  • Hugo Weaving as the voice of Megatron (Cybertronian jet): The missing Decepticon leader held hostage by Sector 7, Megatron desires power over the Allspark and hates organic lifeforms.
  • Starscream (F-22 Raptor): Megatron's second-in-command, Starscream actually desires to overthrow Megatron and take the Allspark for himself.
  • Frenzy (2-speaker CD player): The smallest of the Decepticons, Frenzy attaches to Barricade. His main purpose is spying on humans, but he is still a ferocious fighter, shooting blades disguised as CDs from his chest.
  • Scorponok (mechanical scorpion): He has a symbiotic relationship with Blackout, hiding within him until he is commanded to go and kill.

Note: Starscream transforms into a F-22 Raptor. F22 raptors are built by my company, Lockheed Martin!

Took a mini vacation to chicago to visit friends and to check out the city. It was goodtimes. Overall, Chicago is a nice city.

The first day i was there, Ron got us for free into this huge 4 day anime convention. I can't believe thousands and thousands of people paid $50 to get in, dress up as their favorite anime character, and acted like them. Let's just say, i was a little disturbed. But good experience i guess to see something new.

Drove by soldier field where the bears play. I have to say, this is one ugly stadium. Nothing is wrong with the old soldier field but they remodeled it and added this glass section. Half of the stadium looks like the coliseum in Greece and half of it looks like a spacecraft from outer space. Very ugly.

Met up with Shannon and her Northwestern Law student friends. Good bunch of first year law geeks.

Met up with Janet for chicago style pizza at Lou Malnati's and dessert. It wasnt that great.  I said it once and I'll say it again, Just cause youre in chicago, doesnt mean the chicago style pizza is better than every place that's not Chicago. Just cause youre in New York, doesnt mean the new york style pizza is better than any place that's not new york. A pizza is a pizza wherever you go. Depends on who makes it, peoples styles and the eater's tastebuds. Best chicago style pizza so far for me, is Little Star Pizza in ... *gasp*, san francisco! Their corn meal crust is moist, buttery, and good.

Lake Michigan on a gorgeous day.

The famous Bean. I heard it cost a lot of money to make it, but it's soo cool. A great tourist attraction.

Watched a whitesox game at US cellular field.

And since I'm in the east coast, had to try whitecastle for the first time. $0.67 for a cheeseburger. They tasted bad. Mcdonald's $0.99 double cheese burger is way better. These little burgers were small, the meat is wafer thin, it's just not a good burger. But still, had to try it just to satisfy my curiousity of what a white castle burger is.

And finally, who can guess the significance of this fountain...??
